I travel the country to capture
things that people do not notice anymore or simply do not have
the chance to see. It wasn't always that way. I never dared to
believe that this could be my life.
I was fortunate enough to have
the opportunity to spend the summer in the Rain Forest of the
Great Northwest. I spent a couple of months out hiking, praying
and meditating and searching my spirit for what was really
important in my life.
It isn't about the house, the
cars, the economical and social status anymore. Those things
never made me happy.
It was over the course of these
few weeks that I realized that at no time in my life have I
ever felt more alive and at peace than when I am in a pair
of jeans and hiking boots with a bandana on my head and my
camera in my hands.
Never have I felt such bliss as
when the light of dusk illuminates a mountain, or trees or
rocks just right with that golden light. And then I can't wait
to rush home and show someone what I saw!
So Here it is, my small contribution
to the world and my endeavor of gratitude to my Creator.
